SAVANNAH, GA (November 18, 2025)  – Amanda Hollowell for Congress announced its first slate of Senior Advisor appointments today, bringing together a diverse group of organizers, strategists, and community leaders to guide the campaign through the 2026 cycle.

“A campaign is only as strong as the people who power it,” said Amanda Hollowell, candidate for Georgia’s 1st Congressional District. “I am honored to have these leaders join our movement. Their experience, their integrity, and their commitment to the people of Southeast Georgia will help ensure that our campaign reflects our shared values: dignity, opportunity, and a government that works for working families.”

SENIOR ADVISORS

Amanda has declared her candidacy to represent Georgia’s 1st Congressional District in the 2026 election. The seat is currently held by six-term Rep. Earl L. “Buddy” Carter, who is vacating it to run for the U.S. Senate. Amanda’s campaign is rooted in a core belief: that power, policy, and progress belong in the hands of the people—not political insiders.

Since launching her campaign, Amanda has traveled throughout Georgia’s 1st District. The campaign has kicked off its “Get to Know the Candidate” coffee chat series in Savannah and Hinesville (with more dates to come), and she has attended supporter-hosted fundraisers in Savannah and surrounding areas. Amanda and her team have marched in local parades and participated in community festivals including Savannah State University’s Homecoming Parade, Savannah Pride, and Riceboro’s Ricefest. She has also met directly with voters at community-led meetings across Chatham, Glynn, and Liberty counties.

Starting tomorrow, the campaign is hosting its Friendsgiving Fundraiser, running through Wednesday, November 26.
