Amanda’s platform is rooted in the everyday needs of Southeast Georgians:
Healthcare That Works for All of Us
No one should have to drive for hours or go bankrupt to see a doctor. In Georgia’s 1st, too many families are losing access to basic care because politicians refuse to expand Medicaid. Amanda will fight to fully fund rural hospitals, expand mental health services, and protect Medicaid from harmful cuts.
Good Jobs, Fair Wages, and Real Opportunity
Savannah and Brunswick power Georgia’s economy, but too many workers are underpaid and underprotected. Amanda supports expanding apprenticeship programs, protecting the right to organize, and making sure federal investments actually reach our workers, not just CEOs.
Protecting Our Coast & Building Resilience
We live where others vacation — but we rebuild after every storm. Amanda will champion federal investment in flood protection, resilient infrastructure, and clean energy job creation. She’ll fight to preserve the Okefenokee and protect communities most impacted by pollution and climate change.
Defending Democracy and the Right to Vote
Amanda believes in a democracy that includes everyone, not just the wealthy or well-connected. That means restoring voting rights, expanding access to the ballot box, and standing up to gerrymandering and voter suppression in Georgia.
Paid Leave & Family Support
Working people shouldn’t have to choose between a paycheck and caring for a loved one. Amanda supports national paid family and medical leave so families—including military families, caregivers, and single parents—can take care of what matters most without losing their jobs.
Freedom, Dignity & Civil Rights for All
Every Georgian deserves to live free from discrimination, no matter who they are or who they love. Amanda will defend LGBTQ+ rights, fight for reproductive freedom, and oppose extremist attacks on personal privacy, public health, and identity.
Common Sense Gun Policy
Amanda believes in creating concrete solutions to the gun violence epidemic impacting our communities. She believes we must treat gun violence as a public health issue rooted in communities that have been underfunded and ignored for too long. She supports common-sense gun legislation like Ethan’s Law and banning assault weapons and other high-caliber weapons.
